About us
A credit union that belongs to the community.
Not-for-profit, member-owned, and rooted in western Kentucky since 1962.
Who we are
People helping people since 1962.
Credit unions are not-for-profit organizations that exist to serve the financial needs of their members. In an effort to establish a member-owned cooperative that would provide a safe place to grow their savings and a low-cost source for loans, fourteen charter members came together to create the St. Mary’s Credit Union in April 1962.
Today, membership includes anyone who lives, works or worships in the counties of Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Ohio, Webster, McLean, and Union.
